Is it true when upgrading to an aftermarket radio that is XM ready, you will not be able to use the factory XM tuner?
I was already to buy the Pioneer Navigation radio, with the rear view cam and all the bells and whistles but the installer told me to continue using my XM radio i would have to disconnect the factory one in the car and add a newer tuner.
If this is true isn't silly they don't have some type of adapter so an aftermarket radio can coexist with the Factory XM tuner.
