I am not trying to sound like a jerk here, but the truth is, Tomp is right. Just because others did it does not mean it's the way to go. They might not know any more than you do.
Cranking the bars does exactly the same thing as the Truxx kit (it still loads the spring to achieve the lift), the Cognito shocks are the ticket for the front afterwards.
Many mods around here depend on what you plan to do with the truck, whether or not you plan to wheel it matters on many mods. I guess the thing I'm trying to say is, pay attention to
who you listen to. Do they have any more experience than you? Many here have taken those Truxx kits off their trucks and sold them.
