No with Xenon bulbs they are just plug in 9007 bulbs. I have Euro Dezigns Xeon Krypton. And you pick a color / temp of the bulb, I went with the 8500K.
I think they are much better looking than stock. 
And yes Matt I did not forget to let you know what size the torx was when ever I get to around to adjusting mine. 
Does the HID ones you have include ballasts?
