It's cute. It's got little 50's type cartoons of her family throughout. There is an index to all the fruits and vegetables explaining how to prepare each one for a puree- mainly steaming and roasting. Then how to store them.
One of the co-authors is Dr. Mehmet Oz- if you're into him, I didn't even know.
Pretty basic recipes- ie: the pancakes are pretty normal except you add a few tbsp. of banana puree. Chicken nuggets. Some stuff is pretty adultish but it's good for the husband too.
Some interesting cool ones- ie: scrambled eggs with a little cauliflower puree and parmesean cheese. Green eggs (spinach)
She also gives tips like when you are cooking- give the kids the vegetables first while you are fixing the nuggets or bread or whatever you know they like.
I'm pretty excited about it. I have had the book for awhile but am just getting started. I'll give the straight up stuff to the baby when he is ready.
