Well, what if those nations were smart enough to grow corn on their own soil??
We need to conjure up some real wackos to believe that corn may inhibit ancient seeds from sprouting (the starch could act as a preventative  ), and (get this) the SEEDS MAY ONLY GROW in the best fields to grow corn and lobby to elect those that put the seeds ahead of their nations citizens to govern those nations. Brilliant!!!!
Kinda like this, but with corn.
