Hes looking into using a newer caddy remote start system with my 06 H2. He says those aftermarket systems seem to work fine for a while then quite out. He sees more vehicles get towed in because the owners get stuck and cant start thier cars. With age I'm getting over all that after market stuff. Some stuff is great, but it seems the more electrically involved the more problems you create!

Perfect example. I bought my truck and it has a remote start on it. It's great but the stupid thing has it's quirks.
Here's an example, instead of my truck locking the doors with speed, sometimes I start the truck and the doors lock automatically.
On more than one occasion, I've opened the door, started the truck (with the key) and closed the door to let it warm up.
Immediately, it locked the freakin' door.
That shiet would never have happened if it were stock.
