And this could well happen. But why would someone spend the money and not utilize the brand and all of its potential to its fullest extent? You do realize that Hummer was well on its way to bringing out a revamped H2, right? And the HX is pretty much ready to take the last step towards production. Plus, there's a couple of other things in the bag too. Whomever buys the rights to Hummer would be wise to make the most of everything available. Also, moving production out of the U.S. would effectively kill the Hummer's largest market. The rest of the world isn't going to buy a Chinese "Hummer" either. I'm betting the tentative buyer is well aware of this.
