I tow my 31 foot boat with 2 x 200HP outboard engines, and have been off road in my stock truck and I have experienced temperatures above 175 degrees. I also have in daily driving as well. There have been a number of users here who have had problems with transmissions, radiators, and high temperatures. I did the mod and have not had issues with the transmission on my lifted truck and I will also do it on my stock one when I get the time. But for the price of the cooler I dont want to chance it.
