We're on the road with our 2006 H2 with 60k miles and have twice received the Service 4WD message. Not sure if it matters but we just had an iPod adaptor installed before our trip. Seems to take about 2 hours before we get the message. We also had a lot of rain. Any ideas?

Trying to decide if we should turn around and go home. Still have about 600 miles to go.
