Default Re: 13.50's or 15.50's?

wow that's a lot of talk in 2 days...... had to catch up...

Couple of things.....Dont be afraid of the big rubber! I have a 7" lift, running 40x16.5, dont have gears, do have upgraded steering, no more issues, offroad it a lot and love everything about it.

Okay, so..... Tyler1bo....No I didn't have spacers running 38"s Toyos, just ran 38x15.5 with 20x10 -24mm offset wheels... BARELY fit and even had to trim the inside of the plastic fender in order ot get zero rub at full clock with green keys and full crank up. So beware!...

-You will not get to fit 40s without any kind of lift, that includes body lift.
-First thing you will HAVE to upgrade is your tierods even at running 37s, make sure your ball joints, control arms, etc are not worn out because the wider OFFSET!.... of the wheels NOT the 2" difference in tire size will wear the steering system.
-4" Rancho lift is actually 6"s, add keys and you get a safe extra inch without the bars being cranked.
-I still get an average of 10mpg.....Who's counting???
-38x15.5 will look uber sick if you have the right offselt on your truck

Main point is... dont worry so much about the tire size, 50% of game and look has to do with the right offset of the wheels and lift.

hope this helped a bit.
