Right, I took the front drive shaft off and had no fluid come out so I jumped in, it was in 4H and I was able to drive it out of the shed in reverse. I dropped it into D and off I went, still in 4H (not 4H locked) I hit the throtle hard and then backed off and she no go no more. Didn't matter what I put it into as far as the 4wd goes. When I was able to reverse out of the shed I immediately suspected it was locked in 4H Locked. When I backed off on the throtle there was no clunck or odd sounds. Whilst it was in 'no go' mode I couldn't get it into P as the box was still spinning, I suspect.
So, I got my bro to tow me back to the shed and reinstalled the drive shaft, I'm now back to square 1, wind up in what the buttons say is 4H, no other buttons are illuminated.
One question, should I get a clunk when shifting from 4H Locked to 4H. I don't get anything at the moment.
