I think I paid $5 a valve stem the last time I had any tire work done. Come to think of it, that was when I bought Michelin tires. Maybe it was just a case of the French screwing an another American around? At any rate, I would think that breaking down and dismounting those gigantic 35" ties would cost EXTRA, if anything. If you get it done for free or very cheaply, all I can say is Phooey!
