First Trip to Big Bear in the H3
We left friday night, and it was -4 driving up the mountain. Extremely icy and about a foot of snow on the ground. Needless to say for all you veterans I didnt lose traction once, and took the mountain at about 40-45 mph all the way, tongue out as we drove by all the clowns putting chains on . This vehicle far exceeded my expectations. We even took her off into the back woods called Holcomb Valley and tried to get stuck. Not happenin. Thanks to you all for convincing to buy this thing. I love it!
Thats Big Bear Lake in the background

Well when its 10 degrees outside, and you pull out the gremlin, he tends to retreat back as far as possible, presenting a bit of a problem.

No foolin huh?! I just picked it up thursday night, so I want to replace those with the rock sliders, and I have to pull all the gay bling off around the emblems and attenna mount bling. Believe me, Im not into it, and I definately bought this thing to be used for its full off road potential. More mountains this weekend and desert coming up Feb 10th! Stay tuned.

Re: First Trip to Big Bear in the H3
GREAT pics! You really captured the 'snow'. Your H3 is just like mine, except I don't have as much chrome. I do like the chrome grille below the bumper. It would look good under my brushguard. Enjoy your 3! Looks like you are already!!

Re: First Trip to Big Bear in the H3
I'm headed back up there again this weekend. It's supposed to snow all weekend, so I'll try to take some video shots of some snowy hill climbs. Cant wait!! I'll leave out the pee shots next time, as they dont seem to be a hit.

That would be great! If you do decide to pull it off at some point and don't want it, let me know. You may want to keep it, though! It gives a different look to the front grill.
