Default Re: flush mounted winch

your argument for milemarker "winches = sh1t" becuase you have seen them break. iv seen warn winches break.
all winches need maintenace.

also there is no MM hummer winch bumper. maybe you were daydreaming and thought they wanted to steal your idea, but it never happend.

Default Re: flush mounted winch

I've got a question: what would be involved in winch maintenance?

I've got the BA MM (electric) winch/bumper and only use it on rare occasions, but would like to be certain that I'm taking proper care to keep it in shape...so when I do need it, it works.

I've already had to replace the 'module' that mounts in the engine compartment...guess water got in it or something...they sent me a newer unit and controller. It all worked fine last time I needed it...but, like I said, my uses are few and far between, so I want to keep it in good shape.

Thanks in advance.
