Default 06 H2 air filter

I'm looking for a replacement air filter to fit in the OEM air box. Walmart and Auto Zone dont carry anything for the H2. I googled but couldnt find an OEM air filter replacement. They look like filters for intake kits. Does K&N make one? Last time the oil change place charged me $70 for new filter, I think it was a Puralator.

My 2005 H2's stock air filter is rated for 100,000 miles per the owner's manual. I don't plan on changing it until it has 50,000 miles on it. In the meantime I vacuum it and blow it out until I no longer see dust come out.

I have the OEM filter I removed out of my 06 when there was less than 1000 miles on it, as I swapped the OEM intake for a volant. There is not a spec of dirt on it. Let me know if you want it. I am not sure what it's worth but you can have it for 1/2 what a new one cost plus shipping.

Just an FYI, if your looking for a cheap replacement remember you get what ya pay for. Compare an engine replacement to a good oil, air filter.

Got my replacement from Amazon $46 with free shipping. Here is the link (double check this is the correct filter as I ordered mine about 2 years ago)

If I remember correctly, the Fram is actually an OEM Powercore filter..

JUST realized this was a VERY old thread that was just bumped up......
