Default Saw an Alpha at the dealer.

Looked very nice it was all black, and no accesories other than the side steps. I liket he new rear camera thing thats pretty cool. Also i love the Alpha badging ont he back, steering wheel, and seats. Sorry guys didnt haved a camera with me Anyway i went inside was talking to teh sales guy, it was sold an hour after it got on the lot and it was the only one they got. he said you cant tell much of a difference between that and the regular H3, the only thing he said you can extremly notice was the amount of torque when going up a hill or starting from a standstill, but passing was the same as with the 5. i wanted to drive it but it was sold.

I was at the dealer cuase some old jackdonkey musht have hit my sidestep, it looked like someone bent it an d pushed it back, so the heated it and remolded it. I dont like the new underbody though, i saw a white H3 the other day parked it was not an alpha, had the same underbody protection, is it on all the new 08 h3's? i have a picture of that one on my phone ill upload it tonight.

I agree you definately notice the torque from going up a hill or from standing still. When I test drove the Alpha a few weeks ago I actually left rubber marks on the test track when I punched it up hill. My test drive consisted of the test track for a couple minutes, followed by regular streets and Highway driving. The passing and take off is NOT the same as the 5. Takes off and passes like a V8 should. My 2 cents... Just got my GMID # emailed to me today, so I just may be ordering the Alpha in the next couple months once I sell mine. (GMID is good for 6 months.)

6pack is an unknown quantity at this point

I test drove one this past weekend while mine was getting an oil change. The V8 is a nice improvement. It only comes in the automatic though. That kills it for me. I hate autos.
