Re: What it takes to be a Prius owner
Earth Friendly My Ass.... The Hummer H1 is more Earth Friendly than the Prius.
Prius owners are just smug that they're POSs get better MPG. They never focus on the fact that the damn things are ugly as hell...

Re: What it takes to be a Prius owner
Ill put a diesel jetta up against a prius anytime for MPG and espically cost-per-mile (Since diesel is less than gas).
Diesel jetta's get around 50-60 mpg.
people buy hybrids because people hear things, rumors, and dont know facts, they say "lets go buy a hybrid and save all this money on fuel" even though there are other vehicles, non hybrid, that would proboly save them just as much if not more AND cost less to purchase.....but that is not known by most people.
Kinda like the diesel jetta thing, here on Long Island barely anyone has them.......and people say "diesel...oh why would u want that??? its so noisey and dirty". Now look out in Colorado. Every other jetta is a diesel. This is because people out there are more use to diesel vehicles. This makes them feel comfortable with diesel as a fuel for their car.
Its a shame people with the hybrids dont realise their car causes more polution in its life than a H2.

It reads like this:

Try ramming your SUV into hybrid cars.
That should stop them from using fuel altogether.
