Default 10-12" suspension lift - yay or nay?

I currently have a 6" Fabtech on my 03 H2. It's not big enough. I'm really wanting a 12" Bulletproof but want to get some real life feedback first.

First off - I see the price of the kits, but what else am I going to need to upgrade going this big? Other than tires (obviously). I know installation varies, but would anyone be willing to share a ballpark figure on total cost? With my current setup, I upgraded the steering and that's about it.

Second - this is my daily driver. I have come across limitations with my 6" lift but it hasn't bothered me at all (no more parking decks for me!). A few folks warned about the street handling with 6" but I think it drives just fine. My off-roading days are over, so it's just for looks now. Anything I need to be concerned about with having a 12" lift as a daily driver? And what about inspections? I know they drag out that dang yardstick every time I pull in to measure the headlights. I'm in TX, btw.

Anyone who has a big lift, I'd love to hear whether you love it or hate it. Or any advice you have to offer as well.

Stacy

I cant give you the feedback that youre looking for, but I can tell yout hat they look bad ass. I bought my 6" Fabtech from a guy that was going to the 12" Bulletproof with I believe 44's. It looked rediculous when done.......in a good way. Its funny how I thought my 6" lift was so big at first, now I want to go higher.
