Re: Hummer vs. Ford
H1's don't come stock with a cummins do they? Just a wimpy Detroit. (that was older than 2006) Stock for stock, I think not.
Not to mention the 4 wheel drive of the H1 vs, unlocked diff's in a Ford.
Personally, I like the Ford. I don't care if it broke the u-joint.

Re: Hummer vs. Ford
It's all about traction.... skinny tires vs. off road meats? Neither of those trucks would hold up against a hot rod with serious meats...
Now, off road, forget about it... That H1 would rule...
Pretty pitiful that the ford blew the drive shaft like that, though.

Re: Hummer vs. Ford
I know who owns that truck. Its a Cummins 4BT engine, a very small engine. Something around 105 HP 250 FT/LBS. When you consider how much power that 6.0 Liter Ford puts out. Its very impressive the HUMMER can move it.

Re: Hummer vs. Ford
Its all about gears, weight, and traction. The Hummer could have had a 10 hp briggs and stratton and if the gears were right still beat the ford. It also would have a 5 mph top speed but thats not the point.
