I just bought a H2, and I really like it. I traded in my F250 Diesel Harley Davidson for it.

I was wondering what you guys were doing to improve your gas mileage (i.e. intake, chip, programmer, exhaust etc.). Thanks for your help in advance.

I didn't know they made diesel Harley's. If you want better mileage, trade it on a Yugo.

or you could search for this topic using the Find button at the top of this page. I'm telling you now, so the other guys don't beat you up for asking another "mileage" question. Good luck.

My Harley didnt give good fuel mileage either.

Seriously, do the search as Rox suggested. The opinions on what and if anything works will vary greatly.

I have a mass air flow, intake tube and programmer and didn't really experience any increase in MPG. Getting it to breathe a little better will improve throttle response some and probably give you some more HP but, basically you are trying to push a 7,000lb brick through the air.

Thank you for your post. I did do a search.

The reason I posted was to get more responses. For example your response and experience was never posted in this forum in the past.

in all honesty, if you live in the south with nice weather and dont need 4wd all the time...

remove the front driveshaft (8 bolts) and pull the fuse for the traction control. Ull have a 2wd H2 getting better mileage that can be converted back to 4wd within the same amount of time it takes to remove side steps.
