Default FABTECH Lift ?

I'm going to be getting the 6" Fabtech lift. I've got a 2006 with air ride, does anybody know if I will have problem with the rear air sensor?

Also what is the best backspacing if I run 40" tires?

On Fabtech's site it says that it should work on a 2006 with air. On Trailduty.com it says Air Suspension - 03-05 Only but they probably havn't updated there site.

I don't know about you but when I shell out that much dough the words "should fit" are not in the equation. I would call Fabtech and see if they can give you a straight yes or no.

I have been in contact with Fabtech via email and they have told me that their 6" lift will NOT work with my 2006 air ride SUT. The rear suspension on a air 06 SUT is different then past years so they are working on a fix right now.

Is ditching the air ride an option? You could just put the coil springs that come with the Fabtech kit on the truck. I'm not sure if this has been done before or not?

THey've been working on that "fix" for a while now. It's due to the non-adjustable air ride sensors.

Mine worked fine. Had a different mounting bracket for the sensors that were slotted.
