Re: New style mirror connectors??
They should be the same, the new style mirrors are a direct replacement for the older one unless they changed the connector on the later ones. Dont think they did though

Re: New style mirror connectors??
My passenger side mirror was different not plug and play, I had to cut the old end off and resolder the new wires with the correct configurationon the old plug....but my drivers side was just plug and play, here is a pic that has one of the new connectors in compare to the old still attached to the wire from the mirror

Where did you get your mirror? I've replaced at least 200 of those things and never had a problem.

Re: New style mirror connectors??
I had that same issue, it turned out that someone changed the wiring harness to try and fit in a different truck, I am still trying to solve this problem, I bought them off ebay and they screwed me, anyone know how to take these mirrors apart and what the wirting diagram looks like inside?

Re: New style mirror connectors??
What I did is when I took my old mirror off I cut the old end off and resoldered the wires from the new mirror to the old connector.....you just have to look at the pattern and see what wires go where.....You have to do one wire at a time if you need help just pm me your # and ill do the best I can with the photos I have when I did it.
