Default 2004 H2 Lux Bluestar Install

Finished mine yesterday. Here's what I found, hope this can help someone

1) Remove console lid

2) Remove bucket and 3 bolts underneath

3) Shifter to 1st, loosen set screw on front of shifter. Shift to neutral and lift straight up to remove

4) Cup holder and PRN assy. come off by lifting straight up. Held on by 3 friction clips. 1 front center, 1 on each side toward the rear

5) Remove bolt beside shifter assy. and 2 hex head screws from front of console. 1 on each side of front friction clip, underneath, facing forward

6) Remove 2 hex bolts on the center bezel. 3 friction clips front/top, 1 on each side /approx 1/3 up

7) Lift and slide console back enought to remove center bezel

8) Unbolt Onstar Module

9) Remove glove box

!0) Unplug 2 white sockets from Onstar, seperate foam tape and rout them to the right. Toward the glovebox

11) Bluestar will go up in cavity under airbag switch. Circuitboard,up,horizontal, plugs toward center. I zip tied mine to horizontal brace. Bluestar sits on top of brace

12) Revere procedure to put everything back

My troublepoints; Dropped socket when installing front screws on console.
It rolled underneath shifter.

3 friction clips holding PRN assy launched off
somewhere on reassembly. Have to replace them

Paired up my Blackberry and it works perfectly. Just like a landline.
Led doesn't light up when you press red button to adjust volume, but it works anyway to adjust volume. Hope this saves you some time if attempting this install. I took off way too much for nothing
