Tomp, if you wheel, spacers may fall out unless they're bolted in.

Good luck.

Thanks Ken, but I have called Daystar already and they do not have anything for the H2. I ordered from them yesterday & am afraid they are going to show up & not fit now. Any other ideas?

SUSPENSIONMAXX has rear spacers up to 1.5"
I used them on my Suburban before I got my H2 and never had any problems with them. They're cast aluminum and they claim they'll fit any GM product....

Check out their website at Suspensionmaxx.com

Thanks, I am trying to get ahold of them to verify fit on the H2.

If all else fails, check part numbers for H2 springs vs those of other GM trucks. When you find the match, buy the spacer for that truck.

PS, I've been digging around NAPA and some others and they don't even have a listing for an H2 spring. You may be better off checking with your dealer or I will if you don't have a good relationship with them.

I talked to their technicians a few months ago when I was considering the spacers (along with their torsion bar re-indexing cams....which I finally decided against after much debate) and they said they've been installing the spacers on the H2s with good success.

But, I would agree with Ken that if you do any serious off-roading you might want to do more thorough research on compatibility.....By the way, I've heard some guys say they used epoxy to secure them.

I don't "wheel" (yet, anyway) and wouldn't hesitate to use the spacers for pure street use. Install wasn't too bad, either.....their directions are pretty good.

Great idea on the epoxy.

Maybe Elmer's would work.

Don't think the H2 springs will x-reference as the H2 has new GM "variable rate coil springs" on them.

Here are some adjustables made for the H2. I may just go with these if the Daystars don't work. I wanted something less than 2".

All this talk about your spacers still has me wondering: Something is goofed up with the suspension or the new shocks.

tomp, I checked out your link to the adjustable spacers and they look interesting....but I'm wondering if the H2 has a rubber boot that sits between the stock coil and top of rear trans-axle....where the coil "seats." (there was on the Suburban, so I might assume there is also one on the H2)
I think it's an integral part of reducing noise/vibration in the cab, and should be retained between the spacer and coil. Looking at the picture of the adjustable spacers....it doesn't look like the stock boot would fit over them. Maybe you could cut/modify them to fit or fabricate your own.... or maybe the manufacturer provides one? On the Suburban, the rubber boot completely elimniated metal to metal contact between coil and seat....and potential vibration. When I installed the suspensionmaxx spacers, they utilized the stock rubber boot.

UPDATE: Any tahoe rear coil spacers appear to work. I installed 1" spacers in mine and they worked fine.
