Default Side Marker lights

I am having an issue with one of my side marker lights (turn signal). Sometimes its about half lit and sometimes is just as bright as the others, and sometimes its off completely.

Any ideas on what might be causing this?

I'm having the same issue with my (2) front side markers. Are they going out or do I have a short somewhere ?

Each front side marker has two LED lights in them and had to replace my right side one in 2008 due to "flickering". Cost then was $57.18 total. Looks to be $106.24 at Parts Direct and $76.50 at HUMMER-Parts.

I had two extra front markers but sold them to forum members cheap because they needed them. Oh well I guess I'll get two more.

Man I have been watching for months to see if one of these would pop up on CL or EB... nothing... I am about to pack it in and buy a new one. Part of the problem is that with no one willing to carry the parts line (other than the ones shared by the other GM vehicles) so people figure it?s OK to shaft you.

I love this truck... and if I have to I will start having parts made, plenty of talented people out there... Just would not be factory parts... and I guess if there are no factory parts, it?s all good.

Ed is on the money as usual, out the door you will pay about 85.00 give or take for a new one. I may replace mine and see if I can find a way to revamp the old one... Not sure if anyone has ever tried that... I know they are sealed, but that should not be the stopping point.

Let me know if you find anything... One possible thing I have not tried is the online Hummer recyclers (parts yard). I am guessing you may score one there... but I was too afraid they would cut the price by about 20 bucks for a used light that may give out in days??? Who knows?

Myrddin I think I have (2) red side markers that I will sell if you need them. I need a yellow one so that is why I am not using them. Let me know if you can use them. You can email me at newimage70@yahoo.com if so. Thanks.
