Default 2006 Radio - Auxiliary Input Converter

Sorry - I've been away a bit from the forum (work, kids, fun); anyway, I put a Sirius sat radio in my wife's H3 and I would like to not use the FM modulation. Has anybody had experience with the P.I.E. GM12-AUX/S Auxiliary Input Converter ? We didn't have XM when we bought the vehicle new so its the regular 2006 H3 radio with the "Band" button. Besides the P.I.E. GM12-AUX/S Auxiliary Input Converter, is there something better ? Thanks !

Default Re: 2006 Radio - Auxiliary Input Converter

I personally put in the Sirius SIR-GM1 which allows sirius radio to be interfaced to the factory radio rather than the XM that it was designed for. If your radio was not designed for XM the PIE is a good device. I used one in my Jeep on the factory radio and it worked flawlessly. Its a good product. That being said I have a Soundgate AUXGMV3 auxiliary input converter that will work with your factory radio. I would be willing to sell it for $30. I don't have a factory radio anymore and no longer need it. If you like, its yours.
