Can I change the stock wheels on 94 H1 and still keep the CTIS?

The CTIS air hookups utilize a 1/4" NPT thread adapter that goes into a blade style wheel fitting. This blade style wheel fitting is used on the military rims.
To attempt to use an aftermarket wheel, you would have to:
1) Convert to a Cepek GT braided air line set, with all the appropriate conversion items to convert a standard valve stem hole to CTIS....which is hard.
2) Convert the new wheels to the blade wheel fitting, which encompasses you to enlarge valve stem hole on the rim, which will also require you to redo the length of the CTIS air line from the hub.
Either way, it's not easy. The other thing is that most aftermarket wheels aren't weight compatible with the H1. You need wheels that support a minimum of 3600lbs per wheel. The stock steel rims support 4000lbs per wheel, and the Cepek/GT rims support 4600lbs per wheel.
If you chose the incorrect wheel, the wheel would eventually fail due to the weight.

GT, inc. (Cepek) also makes aftermarket wheels for H1's. As long as you use a Hutchison (stock) or Cepek wheel, it will have the correct offset and be set-up for CTIS.
