Default New H2 Owner in need of advice

Just signed up to this site and man i cant tell you guys how much youve already helped me out by just reading your post. I got a problem with my H2 the service air suspenssion came on and my ride is very low. I pressed the height control button but it doesnt do anything, it just stays lit. I can feel every little bump i roll over and when on the freeway my hummer tends to shake left to right like people are shaking it. Its kinda scary when im driving with the family. Just wanted to see if this has happened to any of you guys and may have some advice before i take it to the dealer.

If service light is on it could be one of many things...I had a left side level sensor go bad but like I said it could be a lot of things, just bring it in and have the dealer scan it. That's the easiest thing to do.

The actual service light is not on. It just reads service air suspenssion on the dash. I may just take it in to get it checked. Thanks for the reply

When you press the ride height button, does the tiny orange light in the button stay on steady or blink? If it's a steady light I would guess air bag, hose, or sensor.

what year?
how many miles?

A couple of things some to mind from your description:
1: rotted body mounts up front and/or swaybar link/ bushing
2: air bag ride height sensor (arms in rear wheelwells) some were adjustable and if one is off from the other it will cause side to side issues as well.
3: bad bag(s)

if you push the ride height button (make sure all doors are closed) measure the distance from the center of your hub to the bottom of the wheel well. Make sure you are on flat ground and measure in the same spot.

4: bad shock can also get your truck upset from L to R
5: 4 wheel alignment? uneven worn tires? psi in tires?

I know it doesn't narrow it down to just one thing, but these are some of the issues that I know of.
