One coming through... Front driver's wheel on all got major air on most. This one wasn't too bad.

A little trick photography by my 13yr old son (as he says, going up a gnarly hill).

Small turn around at top of mountain so we squeezed in for a photo-op too.

It was a little squeeky up there. Yes, the ugly spare is mine and it comes off after the trips.....

Great pics.
I do think your front wheel pulled the most air of the group. It looked like you were shot outta a cannon.
I'll post a few picts this week.
Great to meet you in person.

You as well. We definitely have to get this group together and do it again. One thing I learned for sure is to keep the windows up at all times. With the wind blowing, every square inch of the inside was covered in a silty dirt.
Somehow we should get everyone's email addresses so we can contact each other to take a few non-sponsored trips too.

Hey Woogy,
I was talking to the guys from California Concepts when we were at Hollister and they said they have a guy in the Bay Area that can handle getting your grill painted black and have it last. Did you pick up their biz card? Let me know if you want their contact info.

Looks like fun. This was the event that I had vowed to attend, then flaked because it was just following my vacation.
Oh well, maybe next time. How many people do you reckon attended?

Don't feel bad, SJ. I helped coordinate the event and had to flake due to illness. Would have loved to have met you guys...looks like you had a great time!

I looked for you Kelley. Sorry that you were ill. Steve did a bang up job. The good news is it didn't rain until the late afternoon. It was windy and blowing dust (I'm still cleaning the silt from inside).
I think we were lucky overall because once it started raining we were sliding all over the place coming down the steep trails---we're talking like four-wheel slides in and around tight turns with overhanging trees and embankments . I would say it was very close to driving down a iced over driveway with no wheel control...
Then it was 5pm and we were flickin' mudd outta there....
See you next time. I may cruise by Fitzpatrick this weekend. You still gonna be there?

Yep, I'll be at Fitzpatrick on Saturday. Likely from around 11-1pm, so please drop in and look for me. I'd love to put a face with your name.
Yeah, mud can be something else, especially when it's raining and making it worse!
You had good trail leaders, though and that makes a ton of difference!

Kelley,
We had great leaders. However, on the way home they were in the back. Don't ask me how, I don't know we got upside down.
H2Norcal is right, there was one corner where each of us did a little mud surfing. I'm surprised no one took out this one tree....
I'm going to try to stop by Fitzpatrick on Sat. If you see a big guy chasing 3 kids around, that'll be me.
