Re: What is this world coming to?
That's about right for an '03. I only paid 32K for my '03 about a year ago.
I'd imagine as gas prices go up, you'll see more and more of these...

Re: What is this world coming to?
they still sell off used car lots for 30-40k here in a few days, but new H2s sit around and around and around... they're just too expensive for alot of the target audience (theres no street bling type of scene here at all above the age of 20 or so).
still, that truck was only (probably) very low $50's back in '03, so 55,000 miles and 3-4 years of ownership for 20 grand isn't exactly bad. For a comparison, a 2003 SL500 with 55000 miles is 50-some grand according to kbb.com, a depreciation of similar percentage and larger overall $$$.

Re: What is this world coming to?
as they become more common, there will be alot less truck-oriented whining about them. don't kid yourself, alot of people who have ripped on hummers over the years will slowly stop ripping on hummers, then occasionally compliment them... because they have their eye on a used one at a dealer lot.

Re: What is this world coming to?
Speaking of used H2's. I have an H3 and thought an H2 would look kind of neat parked next to it. We checked out a couple of used ones in the Hummer dealer's lot. I was disappointed in a couple of things. Do they all rattle after 3 or 4 years? Is there a "sweet sport" where the sunroof doesn't roar when it's opened? Why does a larger vehicle have to have LESS legroom in the front seat than the smaller one?

Huh? I didn't notice that. I'm not very comfortable in the seat of the H3s.

Re: What is this world coming to?
My larger built friend was also very comfortable in the H2. I like it because I can actually move my legs around under the steering wheel on long trips. Can't say that so much for the H3. I can hardly get my size 13 boots in the H3 footwell in the winter unless I come in from the right direction.
The H3 is much more quiet when all the windows are open however. But who cares! Don't be such a pussy!

I had to highlight that just to make sure you didn't hide any messages in there.
Like this one that
has nothing to do
with anything at
all but thought I'd
do it anyway just
so you'd see what
I mean

What's with the seat in the H3, you put the seat all the way back, and forget about having leg room in the backseat.
