Hey PEEPS,

Am I a total dumbass, or is there a trick to take off the roof rack knobs. Either I'm a frickin wimp, or there is a trick. Man they are on TIGHT!!!

They just unscrew to loosen - no trick to it. Though I don't believe they come off completely, they only loosen to remove the rack.

If they've been on there awhile, they're probably rusted. Use a large pair of channel lock pliers and a rag over the knobs to prevent scuffing. Once you bust them loose they will turn pretty easily.
