Is that all you do is secure oem guard through the tow hooks and tighten down. I believe that is it, but I have no local dealer to refer to, so i figured someone on here would know

I didn't have the rubber 'bumpers' either, so I used some Loctite Instant Gasket. I don't know if I should've used it or not, it's just what I had laying around, and it seems to have worked fine (it's been on for 3 months w/o problems).

That is it! Just unbolt your d-rings, remove the 2 bolts holding the brackets on and bolt the brush guard on. Don't forget that little 10mm bolt in the center of the bracket. It's super easy. You might want to have someone with you to hold the brush guard in place while you put the bolts back in. That makes the job a lot easier. It took me 15 mins from start to finish.
