Overall height=parking garage woes?
I finally ordered my new wheels and tires!!! My wife had concerns regarding parking garages downtown Seattle--priamarily the one she uses.
I'm having some 315/75r16 Nitto Dune Grapplers wrapped around some 16x8 black Helo Maxx6's, it should look good with the birch white.
The Hummer website states 74.5 inches tall. I added 1.5 inches for the increase in tire height from 32's to 35's. 76.0 inches, anyone ever actually measure?
My Navigator was 76.69 inches tall with the roofrack so I think we'll be in the clear. I just thought some of you may be interested as I plan on measuring overall with the new tires and posting pics...anyone else?

Not sure about the parking garage situation - although I would think you'd be fine.
Post pics as soon as those new wheels/tires are on!!!

You'll be fine if your garage is standard.

Re: Overall height=parking garage woes?
BE CAREFUL...I was pulling in to a parking garage this weekend the sign for height clearance read 6' 9" and with 35" tires, no lift and a the OEM crossbows I maybe had 3 inches to play. If I had the new rola roof rack I just ordered on it I could have kissed it goodbye.

Re: Overall height=parking garage woes?
Is it taller than your Navigator right now? Yeah there may be some parking garages that may have been grandfathered by older rules depending on the city.

Re: Overall height=parking garage woes?
Friend of mine's wife took the spare tire off the top of their SUT going into a garage..
I went into a 7ft garage yesterday and had about 5 inches of play.. That's an H3, 35" BFG MTs, Roof Rack w/ lights.. Of course the 102" (9ft) CB Whip mounted on the rear bumper wasn't to happy going in.. Had to tuck it into the rack on the way out..

Re: Overall height=parking garage woes?
Mine w/roof rack and spare on that is 7'8" (stock tires). I tell my woman 9' just to make sure there's plenty of clearance
With the kayak up there it's like 10'6".
I just don't go to parking garages I have a Hummer I'll park in the grass or sidewalk if I have to

Re: Overall height=parking garage woes?
It depends of the building, year of construction, etc. in general new buildings (not only parking garages, lol) are smaller than old parking garages. be really careful in buildings with new fire protection installations bellow the structure, those are provably installed are under the 7' sign. I park everyday in one of those to go to my gym and my antenna is hitting the pipes every 20'. if you are crusing over a bump in the floor to reduce speed, be more than carefull with under structure pipe instalations.
good luck!
