Default Penny tech splashguards..

Had these cheap Autozone splashguards laying around from my truck. I wanted some protection for the H3 sides from all of the gravel rig roads I run, so I put these on. What I like is they aren't real noticeable and will bend back when rockcrawling. I used the rocker panel bolt to hold the guard on and added two more self tapping screws that only go in the black wheel well liners, not any painted surface...Here they are:

Nice mod, looks like better coverage than my OEM flaps.

Thanks, got them @ Autozone, $10-$15 per pair. I was going to get the stock ones, but I heard they could do damage if they were bent back by an obstacle, + I'm cheap...

Looks good. I can't quite tell from the pic ... does it cover the width of the tire?

Not quite... About 3/4" of the tire sticks out, but no tread does. I guess I could have installed them to stick out more, but I think the coverage should be adequate for most mud/rocks. I guess I'll find out soon..
