35 inch tires ?
I was thinking about putting the 35 inch tires on like alot of people have done. Is the loss of power and up and down shifting all the time on the motor worth it or would most who have this not do it again ? I have heard it really makes the motor down shift alot and alot of power is loss also.Is it worth the look and trade off for the 35 inch tires ????????

Is it worth it? Heck Yeah! There definitely is a power loss, but you only really feel that on the highway and even then it's not that bad. The way I look at it, it's a HUMMER, they're not meant to go fast, they're meant to kick ass offroad. The look with the T-bars cranked and the larger tires complete the vehicle.
They should come like this stock

I don't even notice the loss in power. It has plenty of getup and go for me with the 35's.

Re: 35 inch tires ?
If you put a K&N system on and a catback system on plenty of power
for the 35s

Re: 35 inch tires ?
Go with the 35's you will not regret it. The tires make the rig. The power loss is not that noticable nor is the loss in mpg (the speedo is about 5mph off with 35's), think of what you gain not only in looks but offroad applications. That is what did it for me... I know the truck will perform to its max when offroad if its equipped with the right gear. I agree these rigs should come stock like this.

Re: 35 inch tires ?
How much total height did you gain by turning the t-bars? How many turns?
Did the height stay the same after a few days?

After the initial adjustment, the ride height will settle or adjust itself after driving a couple of days. Then you just re-adjust and it stay there.

I turned the t-bars 2.5 turns and it lifted the front 1.75". I haven't measured after it has had time to settle, yet.
