Hummer dealers in Canada are pretty much useless for H1 stock. Your best bet is to import from the US, Canadian dealers usually overprice them much higher then in the US Market.
You can import with no duties from the US because of NAFTA, the Alpha is a US made vehicle so you'll only have to pay GST.
When I lived in Toronto I gave up buying a hummer in Canada, and looked stateside. I wound up buying one when I eventually moved down here.
Theres an ex-h1 mechanic in the Mississauga/Toronto Airport area who runs his own independent diesel shop, he gets a lot of H1 service work, and has 2-4 H1's for sale at the shop. I don't have any more details but perhaps one of the guys who live near there can mention his name.
With the current Hummer dealer climate [dealers selling their stores back to GM and getting out] I doubt any Hummer dealer except for a few big US ones like Lynch, would touch any H1 on trade in.

I have decided to go for an american vehicle. If anyone does know the name of the Mississauga mechanic you mentioned then it would be great to have access to them.
