They gave themselves pluses for .2 in headroom, a longer, but shorter vehicle, .3 in of leg room. I am not that impressed.
I will concede the towing and hp figures, but come on.
What about general offroad capabilities, "Awe" factor, and BADASS 'tude?
Buyers for the Caddy are different than those who would buy an H2. But, again, not impressed with their figures.
BTW, the H2's pic looks better.

Seems like a no brainer to me. If you got a pair, you buy the H2.

I like how they put the little caddy emblem next to the stats that the Caddy supposedly "won".
Exterior Dimensions CADILLAC ESCALADE EXT -------- HUMMER H2
Length (in.) -------------- 221.4 ---------------------------- 189.8
I guess they think that the caddy being over 30" longer is better....

One of the service techs at my dealer said to me once...people who have money by an H2, people who want to look like they have money by an Escalade. An interesting observation, but I'm certainly not loaded (with $$ that is).

I was thinking about an Avalanche but then heard the Cad has the 6.0 and was rated at 345 HP so I drove one.......Was OK, sounded good but not exceptional power. Then I looked back through the Chev brochure and realized you could order one with a 8.1 big block......That was almost two years ago. The Avalanche has way more power and a ton more torque than the Cad, plus I saved $20,000 and used that to buy my H2.....Now if Hummer would put the 8.1 in the 2004-5 SUT then it would be a perfect world...but they won't so I will keep em both and wish for more.
