Ok I am having issues finding a part number for a basic piece of my A/C.
I replaced everything last year but I have a leak it seems. I think the leak is in the shrader valve (back valve or fill valve), since I put dye in it and it appears to be very slow possibly from that valve. Given I am not 100%
Anyways, the issue is to replace the back side valve (I am not sure if it is the Hi or the Low, I always get them crossed when I am not in front of them) I need to be able to order the part..... but I cant find on Nally GMC's online parts book that part number that matches the diagram number.
If you refer to this picture:

I am trying to find the part number for #34.
Thanks for the help

I pulled up the picture of the PN you provided on Nalley and the associated picture doesnt look exactly like #34 on the picture I provided. In fact it kind of looks like another system for a different vehicle.
Of course I could very well be wrong
Any ideas?
Is it the same part and will fit?
Am I seeing it wrong?

Good luck, Ed
Edit: Ignore the above, it appears to not apply. It looks as though HUMTECH may have gave you the parts number to the front one (it appears to be replaceable) and you need the tube and fitting the is in the rear of the attached picture. Went out to the truck to look (damn the garage floor is cold) and took the picture. Now we need to find that part number for #34 like you requested. I will look around the web to see what I can find or maybe HUMTECH can see if he can get the part number.
Edit: No luck finding the part number, sorry.

Thank you for the assist. True buddys of the forum.
So, if I get this straight.....
1) currently we are unable to find the part number for the part needed
2) it is the low side (the one closest to the cab wall)
3) there is a chance to have the valve internals replaced (since I think this is where it is leaking from..... I think the valve has lost its ability to spring back correctly and seal)
anything else we can think of?
Let me know
Thanks
