Default Nav unit install

I will be installing my Nav unit this weekend.
I got a 2006 NAV unit for my 04, US Spec Ipod adaptor, and Version 25847541 DVD Map. I will take some pictures and document the process.

Well, long and hard way to find out that my 04 H2 is not compatible with the 06 touch screen Nav. I need NON-LUX version to fit. I will be selling mine and going to purchase older (NON-touch screen) Nav unit.
Ipod intengration worked beautifully. It scrolls title and works seamlessly.

I just ordered a Touchscreen Nav for my 03 H2, bummer on your 04, assuming since I have the Y91 code in my glovebox, I have the LUX version of the Bose system and hope mine works. So the US Spec Ipod adapter worked well with the TNR unit?? Have been trying to decide which one to go with but really just want to be able to scroll through all songs, without going through playlists and see Title, etc. on Nav screen.

Thanks!

Hello 410225!
I'm new in the forum, I have a 2006 H2 and I'm looking for the Touchscreen Nav, mine has the Y91 option, but don't know what part number is. You said you have a 06 Touchscreen Nav, can you tell me what part no. is? I try the 15800001 but didn't work.

I have been searching this forum and others looking for the 06 TNR but no results

Thanks

2003 model H2's will work only with Lux Model Navigation Radios.
2004 & up will work only with Non_Lux Radios (does not matter if you have Y91 option or not)
Some 2004 models (very few ) that were manufactured on 2003 may need Lux model Radio
If You install nav radio in 2003 and need vin # to be reprogrammed by dealer, most likely they may tell you that they don't see that option in their Scan Tool. what they have to do is, on their Scan Tool they need to select 2005 as a year built

Y91 ---> Merchandised PKG - Luxury Edition
Has nothing to do with Navigation Radio

Hope this info will help
