Default Funny story....

When I bought my '06, I hit the horn and it played the music from dukes of hazard.... WTF??

When I got it back to NC, the first thing I did was rip out the cheap, plastic toy air horns and hook up the factory horn.

A couple of days later, I happened to be crawling under the truck (measuring for lift kit.... ) and I looked behind the rear axle and what did I see???

3 FREAKIN' HUGE air horns. Hmmmmm, that's cool. 150 psi compressor.

It was disconnected but the wires were run. I didn't have time to mess with it so I basically forgot about it.

Tim (ttkresurfacing) kept bugging me about wanting to hear the air horns. Being pretty busy at work, it's the last thing on my mind. So Tim takes it upon himself to slide my truck up on the lift and check it out.

He soon realizes the the solenoid needs replaced. So I ordered one off ebay and again, Tim takes it upon himself to install it. (I'm pretty sure he's OC)

So he hooks it up and the freakin thing scares the **** out of you when it goes off.

Cool.

Well, that was like two weeks ago that he got it working. I had actually forgot about it until today.

My daughter and I were cruising down the road about 45 and this camry comes FLYINNNNN' by in the right lane. It had FL plates and contained a few teenagers who would scream as they would pass each car.

It worked because as they blew by me and screamed, I was startled a bit. My daughter and I both were surprised.

As I could see them go past each car in front of us, they would do the same thing and each car would swerve a little I guess depending on how bad they startled them.

I was about to make my left turn into the ATT store when I (ya'll see where this is going, right? ) decide to "extend" my travel seeing how that car was stuck up at the light ahead.

I slowed down at the traffic light like normal and slowly pulled up beside the boys in the camry. As I got next to them, I HIT THAT ****ING HORN AND I heard them scream like little girls. The driver must have shiet his pants because he swerved HARD to the right and almost drove down the embankment next to the skating arena.

I thought I was going to piss my pants laughing. Tim said I would call him the first time I used the airhorns and I did. (of course the bastard didn't answer)

BUT IT WAS GREAT....

Mark
