So, wen we bought our first H3, we wanted the rocker panels and fender flares to have clear bra. We paid $400 to have this done. No kits were available at the time. My H3 is coming in about a month and I wanted to get mine done.
I was searching on line and found this kit.
What do you think? Anyone try this yet?

Thanks for finding a link to something designed for the H3. I've been looking myself to avoid rock chip at the rear fender.
I still wish SMA or Hummer would come out with something...a la Porsche 930!

Here's another place. I have them sitting on my dinning room table, since I received them a day or two before breaking my hand. When healed, I'll give it a try.

You broke your hand? That sucks. It was pulling that side pannel off the dash... wasn't it?

No, it was due to installing a rebuilt LS1 SC engine into the Vette and the guy operating the engine hoist not knowing what "lower it a hair" meant. He opened the valve and the engine crashed down on my hand.

Accidents happen...friends are friends. Although there is an old saying a true friend helps you dispose of the body

Don't know if you guys decided to try this yourselves--but I would not recommend this as a Saturday project!! We do these for dealerships and it takes the average installer about 6-9 mos to get fair at doing them and a couple years to be good. TMGCO, I see you are in CO, there are many many shops that do these for reasonable cost--save yourself the headache and take it in to have it done. The cost should be under $200 to do the hood/fenders and the backs of the mirrors if they are painted. If you mess up even a little with your kit, it will quickly become a wadded up ball of goo in your trash can!!
