I bought a new 2006 h-2 black?

How long can i drive it before the rust starts?
I have heard from guys that the car get rusty easily.

I am a high way driver mainly.

What is the best antirust product in the market for hummer?

it is not going to rust for a long time. Unless you sand blast it to bare metal and drive in a salty mess.

You have a rust through policy from GM, and it might be the 4 year, I am not sure.

These trucks are not like the late 80 toyota, and subaru's...those rusted. The metal is much better now than it used to be in the 80's. Also the way they attach body parts is better too.

In VT many people use HOT oil undercoating, and even spray it into the rockers. I am not a fan of that...so I pressure wash it in the spring, and get all the junk off. I will not be undercoating it.

There are treatments you can use, and some are spray on, some dealers do this. A company that used to be around back in the day was "rusty jones" and I am not sure they are still around...google can tell you that.

I think it is for body, not frame or anything like that. I will have to check my manual. Or maybe one of the guys here will know.

I see rust on them on the lot before sale.
Sad state of affairs for GM.
These are things like the frame, tie rods, sway bars, rear axel, etc.

The policy of which I am not aware must apply to the body.

My '05's spare tire carrier is starting to show rust, I will show it to my dealer next oil change - I have no doubt that they will take care of it.

Honestly, I think these f$ckin parts are rusty when they put them together at the factory!
I recently found another nice rusty spot, lift up the rear rubber cargo mat and check the mounting bracket for the 3rd row seat...nice big rusty hunk of metal in the middle of your carpet.
