So we go in to Get The H2 Cleaned and the Running Boards put back on.. I had them look at the Fog lights as a wire came loose and its out, then the other blew as well..
Here is the write up:
Guest states that the Black Wire for the Left off road light came pulled out of the back of the light, Wire broken on left PIAA fog light. Repaired wire and found lights still not working. Light Hrness Relay is shorted. Need to replace harness with Relay. Harness is Special Order Only..
Est: $186.96+tax
Does anyone know what the part is that they are talking about and if we can get it cheaper than what they are quoting? My husband wants to know if he can get it else where cheaper to do it himself.. Thanks guys!!!

I have a similar problem with my PIAA fogs. Both fogs don't work. I brought it in to a local radio shop for some work and had them look at the fogs. They told me the relay was bad so I called PIAA and they sent me a new relay for free. I replaced the relay myself but they still don't work. PIAA seems to be very helpful so if my harness is bad I will call them in hopes they will send me a new harness, so you may want to contact PIAA first and maybe get a new relay and or harness hopefully for free.

First, get hubby to locate the black PIAA relay box inside somewhere near the battery. There is a fuse inside of that black box along with the actual relay itself that might be blown. It is more likely to have failed than the actual relay itself.
Have the fuse checked first then let us know and you have other options that would cost you around $10.

I guess I should have told you to check the fuse first
That was the 1st thing I checked. Glad to hear it's fixed!

No No.. The lights aren't fixed.. Paragon was so nice to point out a typo (or was it )
Once He gets home from his shoot I will tell him about the fuse box to see if it works.. I put an email into PIAA to see what they have to say...
Thanks!

You can route your own wiring from an IGN lead, thereby creating your own harnes. The dealer installation generally leaves the lights on when switched on, even with the battery off (bad and wrong). Whomever originally installed the lights should stand behind their work and relace the wiring if needed. Is hubby good with electrical?
