I was one of the first members here to welcome the new wave of trolls with open arms. However, my plea to the trolls was that they conduct themselves in a mature and constructive manner. My diplomacy fell upon deaf ears and I have come to witness a rising wave of negativity and mockery within a majority of all new threads.
I now see some of my fellow members becoming disgruntled and limiting their visits. Well, it is one thing to have thick skin and take the criticism, but the line is crossed when every thread is plagued with insults and antagonistic remarks.
My initial welcoming and cooperative spirit is slowly turning to disgust. I figured, let's give these guys a chance to lend value to this site.
One does not have to like the H2 to be here, but a guest should respect the members of this site as you would when visiting a person's home.
Last, I don't assume that any of my thoughts are shared with the entire board or its "governing body," but I have come to appreciate this site enough to care about its direction.

Perhaps we could convince Jason to add some form of amore robust verification system? Trolls, are like parrots, they bite you simply in order to be entertained by the reaction. Disabling their accounts is simply one of the reactions they expect, and will be proud of. The current system would easily allow them to re-enter with a new username.

SJ--Couldn't Agree More! Yank The Handle!! Jason. Tired of reading the insults and antagonistic remarks also. Just haven't wanted to stoop to the Primitive Teen level, and respond to any of it.
Wasted effort, arguing with ignorance!

I am working on getting rid of them all, you all can help.
First, ignore them! Secondly, let me know if they show their heads again: jrosoff@sprynet.com
I have tried to block their IP addresses, delete their posts (may not disappear on your computer unless you clear the cache) and suspend their rights. I hope it works!

That's what that "X" is for on upper right of the reply box. I've canceled about 20 replies before I sent them over the past couple weeks.

I liked it, but I'll probably be shunned for saying so.
I figured from the get-go that you were going to be the guy that stayed with us. We've had a lot of fun with Mike...even though he's a Jeeper, he challenges us (in a good way) jokes with us, and provides great technical info.
We'll keep you Musky...

bklynh2srock--after visiting the discoweb, and reading the H2 posts by these people, I was pissed off also. The Ignorance built up at there forum forced a few to find and flame this site and it's members. Muskyman was one of the primary instigators if you check the posts at discoweb.org. Here are a couple of Musky posts;
yep they suck **** like you cant believe
I laugh at all the guiys that panned me for saying that inthe first H2 thread that came up here.
the truth is I layed under one of these pieces of **** for about an hour right before that first thread and the have so much stamped steel crap and pretend off road in these its pathetic!
just look at that steering rod? thats thinner then the one on my Garden tractor...really it is
Good call Will

the funny thing is these things suck in serious off roaders...tom pearson jumped into that thread saying he would love one??? his disco would drive circles around one of these things then pull it out of the puddle that stopped it.
its really to bad that AM general sold the name rights to GM. the fact it shares the same name sake as a truley awsome off-road truck like the H1 is just sad.
just wait they will be a dime a dozen in a few years and all those fancy dealerships they built will be selling Camero's and vetts.
Just a little samples. Posted on Friday, February 07, 2003 - 04:15 pm: **

i'm still trusted w/ the h2 crowd
is their any pics or comments need to be posted. Blake, just don't show them any of your ebay auctions, you hear?
Musky, I don't have a substantive thing to add to THIS bb, and you want me to invade the H2'rs???? I'll leave that to Kim, she knows something! LOL!

Between that and the "fish stories" you definitely add value!

Interesting...even their women feel the need to "challenge." Whatever. So far Musky hasn't brought that into "our house" and if he ever makes it to California, I'd welcome him to drive my H2 and give his honest opinion. I can't blame folks for being skeptical, but I think it's pretty ignorant to badmouth a truck you don't know much about...
BTW, you might want to tell Kim it's BadaSS.

big Z
why not post all my posts over there over here
like the ones where I said there are some nice people over here?
I posted the links back to Dweb, i use my same name on both and have nothing to hide.
I call them like I see them.
last week one of my close friends bought a H2
I drove it on a trail our group has set up to test the mods we do and it will show me in 20 min. what any truck will do.
The H2 did just what I thought it would, got stuck twice within about ten feet of where I predicted to my friends.
I'm sorry your offended by me and my opinions
the reason I have kept comming back is I see alot of potential in these trucks and in a number of the people on this forum.
I have enjoyed helping other people learn and enjoy the world of off-roading for along time and I wont stop because a few people dont like me for what I say.
oh yea did you see where I said once the used prices drop way way down I'll buy one and build it? go ahead and post that part too.
I'm going to be doing a straight axle conversion on that brand new one my buddie just bought to solve some of the short commings. We have also measured it for a DOM tubing rear panhard bar. when we are done it will far outperform a stock one.
