Default Front End Problems

Ok Guys I need Help

Problem:
Slight shimmy in my steering wheel from 50mph on up. Along with that I feel like I have a tire out of balance or a huge rock stuck in my tire as I get a hammering that I can feel in the floor of my truck when over 50mph. The Hammering and Shimmy occur with every rotation.
When backing out of a parking spot and turning the wheel I get a single Pop/Clunk Sound as well.

Truck Status:
71K Miles on it.
18 Inch Wheels with 37 Inch BFG K/M's----Recently Balanced with DynaBeads
New Idler Arm
New Passenger Side Hub
I think the T-Bars are cranked--Done before I got it.

Also I have shook the front end down thinking maybe my drivers hub was bad but it is showing no signs. Ball Joints and Tie rods are all good.

My guess:
I was thinking steering shaft but that would not give me a shimmy/Hammering with every rotation of the wheel. So I am leaning toward a bad CV Shaft? No quiet sure. Maybe Humtech would know? Any help would be great guys.

Thanks,
Eric

Yetti is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Front End Problems

sounds like a bad CV joint in the front. if its a "cachunk cachunk" type sound while backing with the wheels turned then I would say most likely. if its the same going each way then it could be a wheel bearing. do you have times where your brake pedal is low? that would mean its a bad bearing and opening up the caliper.
