Default H2 power locks problem

I am having an issue with the power locks on my 2003 H2. It seems that when I press the lock/unlock button on the driver door, the front passenger door and the liftgate lock activate. However the drivers doors and the passenger rear door do not lock or unlock. The same thing happens with the key fob. Basically the power locks on my drivers side and on the passenger rear door, do not function.

I have checked the fuses, and I did not find any that were blown. Has anyone experianced this? Anyone have any idea what the issue could be.

It is very srtange that one door and the liftgate lock would operate, but the others would not.

I really dont want to take it to the dealership and get clipped for $$$, especially if it is something easy.

Thanks all.

Bump - Anyone else have this problem and find a Solution? It's happening to me now and it's not the Battery in the remote. I have a feeling it's the actuators in the doors..... anyone.....anyone....McFly.....Bueller....?

This may sound stupid, but did you try disconnecting the battery? I've found that most of the elctrical problems with an H2 can be resolved this way.

...not a stupid idea at all, but it's not a battery issue. Something is getting tired. I believe its the door lock actuators and I was just hoping to have it confirmed by someone that may have had the same problem. It is only happening on the Drivers side doors and does not always happen to both doors and does not occur every time. it seems to get better as it warms up outside.
It's in the door, either wiring or the mechanics.

You need to perform a volt drop test over the actuators in the doors to make sure that is the problem. I haven't seen any actuator problems except for the liftgate actuator once. Sounds like a bad connection problem to me, but the only way to know for sure is to test with a voltmeter.

Having the same issues with my 2003 H3, however, my problem has progressed to include both rear doors and the hatch lock not operating. Seems to be sensitive to temp changes outside, because sometimes everything works great. No solution as of yet.

Its just a thought, but when power windows switching goes bad it starts in the DRIVERS door. what you find is that water has infiltraited the switch in most cases. sometimes its wear & tear. if I was going to try anything I would get another switch for the drivers door and see if it doesn't pick up the functions to the others. I wouldn't try and buy a new one rather check with a junkyard or see if someone has one you can swap to try. if it works then BUY the new switch.

This is happening sporaticly on my drivers rear passenger door. It will randonly not lock/unlock by using the front drivers switch or the key fob. I will try the battery disconect thing.

Would this effect the key fob not working too? Or does the key fob signal go through that switch?
