Is anyone else having this issue? Had it to the dealer and all they did was re-secure the bottom trim plate below the steering wheel and add insulation. Did not stop the problem and they are stumped. There's something that has worked itself loose or has started vibrating against something else and it's very annoying.

so I was wondering if there's an easy way to gain access into that section of the dash so I can look for it? you can hear this rattle all the time now unless you are at a dead stop or on a very smooth section of road.

You can pull the knee bolster off, the panel just under the steering column, get a light and look around, or pull out the I/P cluster and see if you can find something that is obviously not attached. It could be a loose harness that popped out of the retainer and is easy to spot.
However, I would demand that the dealer fix the problem. They should have a set of chassis ears, that they can use to help pinpoint the rattle.

I should mention the cluster and the knee bolster are easy to remove. PM me if you need any procedures for the I/P.

Thanks f5fstop. I'll take a look this weekend. If I dont see anything obvious I'll go back to the dealer.
