Default VHF/CB radio location?

Hey guys, I want to install my Tad M10 VHF radio into my 2004 H2, but I can't seem to find a good spot! I see some guys have put radios into their factory Onstar spots, but I do want to keep all of that intact. Does anyone else have a good mounting location for their radio? Thanks in advance!

Also, does anyone have any pics of a non-roof mounted antenna for a radio?

I mounted my CB Antenna to look factory buy getting an 05 and up am/fm antenna mount for the passenger side fender and with some custom work I ended up with a great CB mount

Wow, that looks great! The guy who's installing my radio for me has ordered 2 different antenna mounts for me, I'm REALLY hoping now that one of them will be that one!

Also A buddy of mine installed copied my CB into Onstar install but took it a step further and had the Onstar mounted into the roof console.

Basically his installer hid the Onstar brain in the dash and took the buttons from the faceplate and put them in the upper center console and made and extenson cord out of cat5e. And I have to tell you it turned out like factory. I will see if I can get a pic for you a post it.

Rubberduck4x4 sells the mount that goes on top of the middle A/C vents.

Very functional, forsure, but wow that looks like crap! I'm hoping to mount it somewhere where its more out of sight out of mind kinda thing. Its a $1000 VHF, would hate to see it go missing! Thanks though man, appreciate the link!
