Re: Stolen Tail gate
Wish there was a way to lock. thought about putting hasp and pad lock on the inside when I get a new one. I have waited 2 weeks for the dealer to get a new one shipped.

Re: Stolen Tail gate
After having my bed extender stolen on my other vehicle I got a cable and locked it up. I'm surprised they didn't have an option to lock it like the H2 does.

Re: Stolen Tail gate
They stole my workers tailgate off his Dodge truck, I told him to buy a tailgate lock they sell off the internet. He bought a used tailgate for $200 from the local junkyard. It is quick money for the low life thieves out there... Always lock up your stuff!

Re: Stolen Tail gate
All you need is an automatic actuator for your tailgate and tie it in with the rest of your doors.
Dynolock is good or try some of these other brand:

I believe gmc sierra or other gm product trucks have similiar tailgate handles as the SUT.

Re: Stolen Tail gate
I made a bracket to come off the tailgate so when I have my tonneau cover closed, you can?t open the tailgate.
I was surprised you can lock the tonneau cover but there was no way to lock the tailgate?? What?s the point.
Of course, I hardly lock my tonneau cover when I?m in town...

Re: Stolen Tail gate
That sucks!
I Fukin hate thieves!
I had my H2 broken into at the Galleria at 2:00 in the afternoon!
Bastages broke the back passenger side window and stole my briefcase.
The funny thing is they missed the 2 Rolexes sitting on the floor in the back seat.
Fukin crack heads!
