Yesterday, my new 2004 H2, was hit by the side mirror of one mailman little car, and i have to park, jump and run behind this guy..., because he has no intention to stop, they dont have a license plate, so i whrote down a number on the upper corner of the back of the strange car... he notice the action, an came back then, to shorten this insane episode, he agree to pay me later, and he pay me in cash cause he don't want his supervisor to know about the accident??? ($1,204), but i notice everything else is working perfectly, how or where can i find only the broken mirror and replacee it myself? Thanks for your help.

Welcome to the forum Newbie. Lets see if I understand this. A mail carrier hit your hummer with his side mirror and did $1,204 in damage? You stopped your H2, got out, ran down the road behind him and had a pen/pencil/paper to write down a number while doing this? He then returned, agreed to pay you "later", in cash ($1,204) based on what...estimate? If all this is true it almost sounds funny except for your H2 damage and I doubt you'll find a "broken" mirror but you could order a new one from your dealer or GM Parts Direct.

I wouldn't trust anyone that had no intention of stopping. Every time I try to be the nice guy I get screwed.
Thanks for not turning him in, now the price of stamps won't go up.

I agree with soft and it's postal worker, not "mailman."

Just for picking on us letter carriers I am putting you all on a master Porno junk mailing list.........
Seems strange to me anyway since the mirrors on mail trucks are designed to fold flat when they touch anything stationary without breaking what it hit.............
That is all...keep moving
